The SiliconValleySousVide chef resides in the heart of Silicon Valley where by day I'm a hi-tech entrepreneur.  In my spare time (what's that?) I enjoys cooking and have fallen in love with the Sous Vide techique, both for its superior cooking and time management characteristics.  I think it truly is revolutionizing gourmet home cooking.  I find it allows me to create unique dining experiences that combine incredible taste, texture, visuals and presentations with minimal timing challenges, normally associated with gourmet meals!

While I am by no means an expert in Sous Vide, I have a passion for it and that usually means I am a voracious learner.  This website is a culmination of my journey.  Maybe someday I'll start a restaurant!

A couple years ago, after watching the movie Julie Julie, I decided to challenge myself to make Julie Child's Pate de Canard en Croute.  It took all day and two times to get the crust right, but in the end I think I got it.  Everyone thought it was delicious!

OK, maybe not, but that is a REAL OSCAR!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoy cooking for my loved one and two wonderful children all of whom are growing up way too fast and  have successfully flown the coop!  I also share my home with my ever present pets: Jersey, Hershey, Bo and Riley, sometimes known as the "scardy dog!".  In our hearts, we remember our beloved Baxter, Rusty and Midi too.

I also love "building things".  I remodeled my house and did the finish electrical, plumbing and gas myself.  I also did the kitchen myself (yep, everything in it!).  If you're interested, I have another site that details that experience.
